"Juniper Restaurant, in Edwards Colorado, is the confluence of Contemporary and Seasonal Cuisine. Located just minutes from Vail and Beaver Ceek Resorts and along the banks of the Eagle River. Established in 2002 the restaurant is the culmination of a dream, a desire for excellence and a passion for fine food made from scratch using fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients, all artfully presented. Owner Doug Abel, Executive Chef's Santos Macias and Joel Paula, along with Chef de Cuisine Matt Boyington and Pastry Chef Allison Helfer have created a new American Cuisine, in a magnificent setting, within the heart of the Vail Valley. The restaurant replicates a city bistro but, in the mountains, a “sure bet” after a hard day’s play in the mountains; summer or winter. The moment you walk in the door you will appreciate the warmth of the environment, the friendly greeting of the staff, the excellence of the menu and the imaginative wine list. Doug and his team believe in excellence in all respects from the linen tablecloths to the subtle lighting - in the Juniper bar, in the main dining room and in the enclosed patio, overlooking the Eagle River. Juniper is in Riverwalk, a “super-cute” part of the town of Edwards, Colorado. The area has the feel of a small mountain town with boutiques, art galleries, an arts center, specialty shops, a movie theater and so much more. Riverwalk at Edwards serves as a gateway for visitors looking to experience the nearby resorts and the lifestyles of the high country. Along with the world-class skiing just minutes away, Riverwalk serves up many other outdoor adventures from fly-fishing white water rafting and golfing to hiking through serene wilderness areas — it’s all available around this mountain town.
One of our favorite restaurants when we visit Colorado. Never disappoints. May 30 2019
Overall, right there with the best restaurants in the Vail Valley! Do not let the Edwards address fool you and it is well worth the drive. Been here at least 20 times and always fabulous! Servers are passionate and the owners should be very proud! Dined on April 3, 2019 April 3, 2019 Andy Chicago
